Liquidity Officer

Our client a well known firm is currently seeking a talented Liquidity Officer to join their team of quality professionals.

Reporting to the Liquidity Manager you will be responsible for recording and reporting of all investment and non-investment transactions.

<strong>Your responsibilities include:</strong>

&#8226;Maintain client profiles to ensure all staff have access to relevant client information.
&#8226;Provide high quality client service.
&#8226;Act as day-to-day prime contact for cash enquiries.
&#8226;Receipt and check sufficient authorisation provided by the client for daily instructions
&#8226;Ensure all clients&#8217; money movements are accurately recorded by manually entering data on cash sheets &#8211; on a daily basis.
&#8226;Notify through the appropriate channels of possible funding shortfalls.
&#8226;Record all cash transactions including capital entries, money market and interest accruals.
&#8226;Prepare EFT payments as instructed by our clients
&#8226;Ensure bank reconciliation items are monitored and reported to management if not cleared within agreed service standards.
&#8226;Develop and maintain contacts with fund managers/banks/institutions.
&#8226;Ensure ongoing productivity by providing back-up relief for staff who are absent, on leave or at times of high volume
&#8226;Assist in the training of team members and provide guidance as required.
