Financial Data Analytics Officer

Our client a successful professional services firm in the banking and finance sector is currently seeking a Financial Data Analytics officer to join their, excellent team.

Reporting to the Securities Pricing Manager your role is, to ensure accurate valuation of individual securities within the central accounting database and may involve resolution of associated queries from Portfolio Analytics staff & other internal departments.

<strong>Your key responsibilities include:</strong>

&#8226;Source and enter relevant security prices, including Equities, Fixed Interest, Foreign Exchange, listed and OTC derivatives
&#8226;Ensure all work is processed prior to relevant deadlines & all quality checks are performed
&#8226;Responsible for escalating or resolving queries from both internal departments and clients regarding security valuations
&#8226;Escalation & resolution of  all queries and risks to Supervisor
&#8226;Responsible for providing a high level of customer service by achieving Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements
&#8226;Actively maintain current knowledge of trends within the Financial Industry
&#8226;Provide assistance and support to other staff
&#8226;Develop and build knowledge depth within the team and department through cross training
&#8226;Actively promote and support risk awareness to achieve and maintain a risk control environment
&#8226;Responsible for escalation of issues of material importance as soon as they are identified
&#8226;Adherence to &#8220;PRINCIPLES OF MAINTAINING A STRONG PROCESS CONTROL ENVIRONMENT&#8221;
&#8226;Support the teams within the company on a monthly basis.
